Mzansi Cares Initiative
“The best and most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen or even touched; they must be felt with the heart.”
Spreading the love this Valentines day.
Mzansi Fire and Security had touched the hearts of the elderly this Valentine’s Day, with gifts that were given, moments that were shared and memories that were made at the Ocean View Home for the elderly in Musgrave. Mzansi Fire and Security employees had championed the Mzansi Cares Initiative unit with contributions and donations to put together gifts for the residents.
Mzansi Cares Initiative spreading the love campaign took place on Tuesaday the 14th of February 2017 at 354 Musgrave Road, Durban between 14h00 and 15h00. Members of Tafta, together with the Mzansi Cares Initiative team had a tea party in celebration of Valentine’s Day with the startling residents and staff of Ocean View Home. This had certainly brought joy and appreciation to the men and women at the home, they ranged in age from 70 to 90 years old. Our experience through the planning, production and delivering process was nothing but heart-warming and cheerful. We enjoyed spending quality time with the pensioners, who valued and treasured the time we invested in them.
